Devon is a superb place to live. But the county faces some significant challenges which mean that not everyone is able to enjoy a high quality of life.

We want Devon to be a safe and healthy place where people have choice and control and can benefit from the opportunities created by a flourishing economy.

We want to protect and support vulnerable people, take early action to promote health and wellbeing, remove barriers to growth, make the most of our natural resources and help communities to help themselves.

We need to work in different ways and in partnership with others to deliver this plan and will be regularly measuring and reporting our progress along the way.
